Terms of Service

These terms describe how Horizon Business Operations ("Horizon," "we") sells website packages and monthly plans. They use the same prices, plans, hourly rate, and cancellation rules as the Horizon Website Services Agreement (v1.0) on this site. If these terms and that agreement ever differ, the agreement controls. Read it at /agreement.

Packages

Setup is paid in full at checkout. Work starts after payment is received. A website is published, and stays online, only while you have an active monthly plan.

• Starter Site: $697. A 1-page site. A contact form with an automatic reply. Mobile-friendly. 2 revision rounds. Requires the Essentials plan or higher ($149/mo).
• Professional Site: $2,997. Up to 5 pages (home, services, about, gallery, contact). We write all the words on your site for you. A booking or quote form. Instant text and email to every new person who reaches out, plus automatic follow-up. SEO optimized so local customers find you on Google. 2 revision rounds. Requires the Partner plan or higher ($249/mo).

Custom Site: from $5,500. The $2,500 deposit is invoiced after you approve the quote and credited toward your project total. If you cancel before work begins, it's refunded minus 5% for processing fees. Once work begins, it's non-refundable. Requires the Partner or Partner-Pro plan.

Optional add-ons, paid with setup, for Starter Site or Professional Site:

• Local Business Add-on: $497.
• Social Media Add-on: $397.

Monthly plans

Plans are month-to-month and billed automatically through Stripe. The monthly plan is not charged until the site goes live. If the site has not gone live within 60 days after checkout, monthly billing starts then. Each higher plan includes everything in the plan below it.

• Essentials: $149 per month. Your website, hosted for you. Your domain, included and renewed. Security updates. Backups of your site. 24/7 monitoring so we know right away if your site goes down. Automatic review requests sent to your customers. Contact form with an instant auto-reply, so the person who writes in doesn't wait. An automatic monthly report in plain English. Content edits aren't included. Changes are billed per request at $199/hour, billed in 1-hour increments (1-hour minimum), or included when you move up to Partner.
• Partner: $249 per month. Everything in Essentials, plus: Content updates when you need them (text, photos, hours, specials). Daily review monitoring, with a reply drafted for every new review. Your new 5-star reviews shared automatically to Facebook and Instagram. New website inquiries sent straight to your contact list, so none get lost. One repeated task set up to run on its own. A quarterly check-in call.
• Partner-Pro: $449 per month. Everything in Partner, plus: New pages and promotions for your services and specials. Review replies posted for you after you approve the draft. Your reviews, specials and updates posted automatically to Facebook, Instagram and Google. Follow-up messages that stay in touch with people who reach out until they book. Up to 3 repeated tasks set up to run on their own. Priority response when you need us. A monthly check-in call with your Horizon partner.

Extra work

Work outside the package or plan is $199/hour, billed in 1-hour increments (1-hour minimum). That includes extra revision rounds and content changes that the plan does not include. Horizon will give an estimate on request before starting that work. Custom Site review rounds beyond the quote use the same hourly rate.

Cancellation

Each monthly plan is month-to-month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time in the billing portal or by emailing contact@horizonbusinessops.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. There are no refunds or credits for partial months.

If you cancel a setup by email before Horizon begins work, Horizon will refund the setup fee minus 5% to cover payment-processing fees. Once Horizon begins work, setup fees are non-refundable. Work begins when Horizon starts any project task, such as a kickoff call, planning, design, account setup, or content preparation.

You can cancel anytime. Once your account is paid in full, including the $199 transfer fee, we'll transfer your domain and give you the website files on request. If you cancel without asking for a transfer, the site goes offline.

Payment

Fees are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. Horizon does not store full card numbers.

New York law

New York law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York.
